This square composition is a masterclass in the symbolism of floral forms. The uniquely shaped blossoms represent the various stages of spiritual growth and the blossoming of inner potential. In Petrykivka tradition, the specific structure of each petal and the rhythmic arrangement of the flower heads signify harmony between the earth and the heavens. The vibrant palette and intricate “zernyatko” (seed) strokes create a protective wreath of beauty, celebrating life’s abundance and the artist’s personal journey through ancient traditions.
